Dance Team Practices

Dance Team practice this week is on Thursday 12/7 and Friday 12/8 from 2:30 until 3:45. Remember to bring your signed permission slip!!

After-School Chorus

Are you into music? Do you like to sing? Have you ever thought about singing in a group? How about performances and field trips? If this sounds right for you, sign up for CHORUS!  Our After-School Chorus program is starting next Wednesday, December 6th. If you’re interested, please pick up a permission slip from the Band Room! See you at our first rehearsal, December 6th!

The Christmas Drive

The Christmas Drive is November 27th through December 15th. Anyone can donate to help those RCMS families in need. Possible donations include, but are not limited to, the following: sports equipment, toiletries, jewelry sets, craft sets, board games, puzzles, purses or tote bags, winter clothing, and books. Donations can be dropped off in room 5, before and after school.

Stripes Spirit Day

Stripes Day is this Friday, December 1st. Show your school spirit and earn your grade level points by wearing stripes.

The Winter Dance

The Winter Dance will be held on December 15th, from 2:45pm to 4:30pm. The theme colors are blue and silver. Tickets will be sold from December 8th through December 14th outside of room 4. Dance ticket prices will be as follows:

 

$3 on December 8th and December 11th during all lunches

$4 on December 12th and December 13th during all lunches

$5 on December 14th after school only

 

Students will additionally have the opportunity to purchase snacks in advance and avoid the line during the dance for $1 to $2 each item.

 

Tickets are only valid to the original purchaser of the ticket. Tickets will not be sold on the day of the dance. Students will NOT BE allowed to enter late or leave early. Students who are on the LOP List or owe any fees to the library will not be able to buy a ticket. Hand-written permission slips will not be accepted. Please note that portions of the dance will be video-recorded for the school yearbook. Click HERE FOR THE PERMISSION SLIP.
